Bellingham Washington Wedding and Portrait Photographer Courtney Bowlden bio picture

Welcome, welcome!

Thanks for stopping by!

Whether you are visiting the blog to view your own pictures, friends pictures, or just for fun, I am glad you're here. I have taken a lot of time, energy and love and put them in these photos. More than anything, I enjoy finding beauty through the lens of the camera, and capturing a moment that will last forever.

Bellingham, Washington Portrait Photographer: Haley

It was such a pleasure to be able to take picture of Haley again. The first time I took her pictures, I had just bought my new camera and was anxious to use it. Now, months later and much more experienced and knowing my “style”, I was honored to take her pictures again. She is such a sweet, fun young woman! I have really enjoyed getting to know her. She leaves for college in just a few weeks to Hawaii and I wish her all the best!

Poor Haley was eaten alive by bugs when we shot in the field. I think next time I will tell my clients to dress in long pants and long sleeves. HA! Hope they have healed for you and aren’t “bugging” you too much, Haley!

Seattle, Washington Wedding Photographer: Lexi & Cole (Part One)

I have never met a couple like these two here! I may be a little biased, though. Cole was a very dear friend in High School and he is one of a kind. But when I first met Lexi, I instantly fell in love, and I knew exactly why Cole had fallen in love with her as well. She is such a fun, happy, kind and loving woman. She was so good with my kids and she has the most infectious smile.

The day before the wedding, they wanted to get the Bride and Groom pictures out of the way, so we went to downtown Snohomish and took pictures around there. What a blast that was! We laughed, had ice cream and talked about High School days. It didn’t feel like 10 years had passed, but as if we had just graduated. These two are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. They have such a great light about them. When you are around them you cant help but smile and laugh. They are just a blast to be with. I wish them all the best in their new life together.

Bellingham, Washington Family Photographer: Ashmore Family

I was so happy with this session. Not only was the weather great, but the kids were so well behaved and obedient! This might have been the easier family session I have ever done. Their outfits were so cute, too! I loved how natural mom and dad were during their part too. I always enjoy when the parents can forget that I am there taking pictures. You can really tell how tight this family is. They are such an awesome, sweet family, too!

I am so proud and excited to show you these pictures. I wish I could post all of the pictures I took. They are just stunning!IMG_2460copy2MINEIMG_3323copy2MINEIMG_3249copy2MINEIMG_2547copy2MINEIMG_2641copybwMINEIMG_2735copybwMINEIMG_3135copy2MINEmerge_ashmore_MINEIMG_3050copyMINEIMG_3458copy2MINE
