Raspberry Ridge Golf Course Wedding
Taylor and Brandon’s Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding will always have such a special place in my heart. Not only was it a gorgeous, joy-filled day, but it was also incredibly meaningful because Taylor’s family owns Raspberry Ridge Golf Course, and this was the very first wedding ever held on the property. Watching their family transform the course they love into a warm, welcoming celebration space made this Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding feel extra personal from the very beginning.
Raspberry Ridge is a family-owned, 9-hole course nestled between Bellingham and Lynden in Everson, WA. It’s known locally as one of the best 9-hole courses in Washington, with gently rolling farmland, excellent drainage, and peaceful views that stretch out toward Mount Baker. On a sunny day, the light spills across the greens and the sky feels huge—honestly, it’s the perfect backdrop for a Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding like Taylor and Brandon’s.
Their ceremony took place right at hole 1, which I absolutely loved. You could feel how right it was for them to say their vows on land that Taylor’s family has cared for and poured into over the years. Guests sat facing the fairway, surrounded by open fields and wide Northwest skies, and it gave the entire Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding this cozy, relaxed, and intimate feeling—even with the openness of the landscape. There was something so special about watching Taylor walk down the aisle on her family’s course, knowing this was the first of many love stories that would be celebrated there.
Taylor’s bridal look was the perfect mix of timeless and romantic. She wore the most beautiful gown from BHLDN, with delicate details that photographed like a dream and moved so gracefully as she walked across the grass. Her style fit the overall feel of this Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding so well—elegant, but never fussy; classic, but still soft and approachable. Every time she turned or laughed, the dress caught the light and made her look like she’d stepped straight out of a bridal editorial.
The florals by Seven Sisters were absolutely breathtaking. Taylor opted for arrangements that felt organic and refined, with blooms that complemented the natural greens and open space of the course instead of competing with it. The bouquets and ceremony pieces added just the right amount of texture and color, giving this Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding a fresh, romantic look while still letting the venue shine.
One of my favorite parts of the day was how many thoughtful, personal touches Taylor and Brandon incorporated. For dessert, they served fresh poffertjes—tiny Dutch pancakes—hot off the griddle. The smell alone was amazing, and it gave their Raspberry Ridge Golf Course wedding such a cozy, homey feel. Guests gathered around, chatting and laughing as they went back for seconds (and thirds). It was such a fun alternative to a traditional dessert table and fit the relaxed atmosphere perfectly.
I also loved the way they handled their place cards. Instead of standard name cards, Taylor used lottery tickets with guests’ names attached at each place setting. It was such a unique and playful detail—everyone had a little moment of excitement scratching theirs off, hoping for a lucky win.
