A Fairytale Whimsical Outdoor Wedding at Jardin del Sol

Some weddings feel less like events and more like scenes from a movie—and Olivia and Jordans’s wedding at Jardin del Sol in Snohomish was exactly that. Romantic, whimsical, and overflowing with beauty, this outdoor garden celebration felt like stepping straight into a fairytale.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this day was going to be something special. Draped fabric fluttered softly in the breeze, florals spilled across every surface, and the entire setting felt intentional, elegant, and deeply romantic. It’s easy to see why Olivia chose this venue—she was drawn to the lush garden atmosphere and timeless romance of Jardin del Sol, and it delivered in every possible way.

A Garden Setting Straight Out of a Dream

Jardin del Sol is known for its enchanting outdoor spaces, and this wedding embraced everything that makes the venue so special. The ceremony took place surrounded by greenery and blooms, creating an intimate garden atmosphere that felt both elevated and welcoming.

Every design detail felt cohesive—from the ceremony drapery to the reception décor—bringing Olivia’s vision to life in the most beautiful way. The color palette of blush, gold, taupe, sage, and navy added depth and softness, striking the perfect balance between romance and elegance.

One of the most unforgettable elements of the day was the reception tent. Inside, luxurious round chandelier lights hung overhead, casting a warm, glowing light that transformed the space into something truly magical. It felt cozy yet grand, refined yet relaxed—exactly the kind of atmosphere you hope for in an outdoor wedding.

Florals, Fashion, and Thoughtful Details

Olivia was most excited about the florals, and it showed. Designed by Oak and Fig, the arrangements were lush, romantic, and perfectly suited to the garden setting. Every bouquet and installation felt intentional, enhancing the venue rather than overpowering it. You might recognize their florals from the work we did together in Scotland at this amazing castle wedding.

The bride’s gown, from Nyanza Bridal and designed by Galia Lahav, was nothing short of breathtaking—dramatic, elegant, and undeniably bridal. Paired with her Badgley Mischka shoes, the entire look felt timeless and luxurious.

Hair and makeup completed the vision beautifully, with hair by Zo & Co Styling and makeup by Alexis Michael for the bride. The result was polished, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.

Emotional First Looks and Meaningful Moments

Olivia and Jordan chose to do a first look, and it was one of the most heartfelt moments of the day. Quiet, emotional, and full of anticipation, it allowed them a moment together before the celebration truly began.

Equally touching was Olivia’s first look with her dad. His reaction was priceless—pure joy, emotion, and pride all wrapped into one. It was one of those moments that reminds you how meaningful weddings really are, not just for the couple, but for the families who raised them.

A Day Full of Surprises (Including a Rainbow)

As with many outdoor weddings in Washington, there was a bit of weather uncertainty throughout the day. Guests were thoughtfully offered umbrellas just in case, adding a charming and practical touch to the celebration.

And then—just before toasts—the sky delivered something truly unforgettable. A massive rainbow stretched across the horizon, stopping everyone in their tracks. It felt symbolic, magical, and perfectly timed, as if the universe itself was celebrating right alongside them.

An Evening of Celebration and Elegance

The reception flowed seamlessly thanks to the incredible planning and coordination by Rebecca Grant of New Creations Weddings. Catering by Ravishing Radish Catering was beautifully executed, while the wedding cake by Honey Crumb Cakes—hands down one of my favorite cakes ever—was both stunning and delicious.

Guests enjoyed a photo booth by Aha Party Co, elegant furniture rentals from CORT Party Rental and BBJ La Tavola, and a packed dance floor thanks to Ottomatic. Videography by Peak Digital Cinema captured the day beautifully.

A Sparkler Exit and a Perfect Ending

As the night came to a close, Olivia and Jordan’s exited beneath a shower of sparklers—romantic, celebratory, and cinematic in every sense. Waiting for them was a Rolls Royce, ready to carry them into the next chapter of their story.

Having just photographed their engagement session at Discovery Park, it was incredibly special to see their journey come full circle. Their Jardin del Sol wedding was whimsical, emotional, elegant, and full of joy—a true fairytale brought to life.
