A Monet-Inspired Wedding Photoshoot at Christiansen’s Nursery: Dreaming in Pastels

After returning from France in the Spring, I was so inspired by Monet and the beautiful pastel colors he used in his paintings. I rounded up some amazing vendors here in Seattle and asked to collaborate with them on this dream of mine of creating something inspired by Monet for future weddings. Imagine walking into Christiansen’s Nursery and being greeted by a scene that feels like it leapt straight from a Claude Monet painting. Soft, filtered light illuminates delicate blooms in every shade of pastel, creating an ambiance of timeless romance. A Statement in Pastel Purple

The bride’s dress was the showstopper of this shoot, setting the tone for the entire design. A pastel purple tulle gown is not something you see every day, and that’s precisely what made it magical.
