Last year was a rough year for a lot of people, including the wedding industry. Many couple’s had to postpone their weddings or downsize dramatically. Needless to say, us photographers and wedding vendors had a lot of time on our hands, and when I have a lot of time on my hands I get antsy and anxious. I decided that instead of sitting around, I was going to gather a group of other vendors together at one of my all time favorite venues and plan a beautiful editorial shoot. I love the soft shade of pink, so when I saw this dress on Instagram, I knew that it was the one for our shoot.
Pink is such a great color for any wedding that is wanting a little bit of romance. I also love the added pastels in the floral arrangement and table. The cake was absolutely perfect, which was pre-made ahead of time and is now sitting in the store window on display at Honey Crumb Cake Studios in Seattle. Honey Crumb Cake Studios makes some of the most delicious and elegant cakes. I have worked with them so many times in the past and always enjoy what they design.
