Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a small, intimate wedding in Paris. Just writing that still makes me smile. And as if that weren’t already amazing enough, this coming summer I’ll be hopping across the ocean again to photograph a wedding in London—well, Newcastle to be exact! There are truly no words to describe how excited I am to travel back to another country, explore somewhere new, and document another love story in a place with so much character and history. I absolutely love traveling and going on adventures—especially when my husband is able to come along. Some of my favorite memories are from the trips we’ve taken together for weddings, where we get to mix work and play and soak in new experiences side by side.

I want to get out of my comfort zone more—try new ideas, new lighting, new compositions. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll finally take up calligraphy. I’ve been flirting with the idea for a while, and who knows… this might be the year I actually do it.

Full, lush, and perfectly balanced, it added the ideal pop of romance to every frame she was in. I found myself photographing it over and over again because it was just that good.
