Spring Seabrook Wedding: Megan and Brandon
I took a little road trip with my best friend, Sarah, out to Seabrook for Megan and Brandon’s gorgeous summer wedding, and it was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Their Seabrook wedding had all my favorite things: salty air, soft fog, a laid-back coastal town, and a couple who couldn’t stop laughing with their friends all day long.
Seabrook, Washington has quickly become one of my favorite destination wedding spots in the state. Tucked along the Pacific Coast, it’s a walkable, intentionally designed beach town with vacation rentals, shops, parks, and multiple event spaces all woven together in the sweetest way. Instead of just having a single building as your venue, a Seabrook wedding gives you access to an entire town—tree-lined streets, cozy cottages, gathering spaces, and of course, easy access to the beach. It feels like hosting your wedding in a little storybook village by the sea, which makes it perfect for couples who want a full weekend experience with their guests.
On Megan and Brandon’s wedding day, the weather could not have been better. It was warm but not too hot, and as the ceremony time approached, that classic coastal fog began to roll in over the water. The soft light it created was a dream to photograph. We wandered around the town and down toward the beach, taking advantage of the charming streets, porches, and ocean views that make a Seabrook wedding so unique. Everywhere we turned, there was another perfect corner for photos—colorful beach houses, winding paths, and those big, open sky views that always make my California-born heart so happy.
Their group of friends kept us laughing from start to finish. Megan and Brandon are surrounded by hilarious, loyal people, and it showed in every part of the day—from getting ready, to wedding party portraits, to the dance floor later that night. I love when a wedding feels like one big, joyful hangout, and this Seabrook wedding was exactly that.
For hair and makeup, Megan worked with the amazing team at OffWhite Makeup & Beauty, who I absolutely adore. They are so talented and such a delight to work with—calm, professional, and genuinely kind. Megan looked incredible. With her old-Hollywood waves and classic makeup, she honestly reminded me of a 1950s actress in a Hitchcock film—elegant, striking, and completely timeless. The coastal setting of this Seabrook wedding paired with her vintage-inspired look made for such a stunning combination in photos.
One of the reasons Seabrook works so well for weddings is how thoughtfully it’s built for hosting groups. There are beautiful indoor and outdoor venues like the Seabrook Town Hall, bluffside lawns, tented spaces, and cozy gathering spots tucked among the cottages. Couples can mix and match spaces for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all while keeping everything in easy walking distance for their guests. With so many vacation rentals available, friends and family can stay just steps away from the celebration, turning the whole weekend into a mini vacation.
Megan and Brandon’s Seabrook wedding really leaned into that destination feel. Guests could spend time at the beach, wander through town, grab coffee, and then stroll over to the ceremony without ever needing to get back in their cars. It made the whole day feel relaxed and unhurried. Instead of worrying about logistics, everyone got to simply enjoy being together by the ocean.
As the fog settled in and the evening light softened, the town took on this dreamy, coastal glow. We snuck Megan and Brandon away for a few more portraits, letting them walk hand in hand through the quiet streets and along the paths overlooking the water. Those small in-between moments—the way they laughed together when no one else was around, the way he pulled her close when she got a little chilly—ended up being some of my favorite images from their Seabrook wedding.
If you’re as obsessed with beach towns as I am and you’re dreaming about your own Seabrook wedding, you might also love seeing another celebration I photographed there: this Fourth of July Seabrook wedding. It shows just how versatile and fun this little coastal town can be for different types of celebrations.
Looking back, Megan and Brandon’s day will always stand out in my mind as the perfect mix of coastal charm, heartfelt moments, and nonstop laughter. Seabrook has officially claimed a big piece of my heart, and every time I get invited back for another Seabrook wedding, I feel like I’m getting to visit a favorite place—and tell another beautiful love story by the sea.
Planning a spring seabrook wedding can be an enchanting experience, with the blooming flowers and mild weather adding to the charm.
