Trinity Tree Farm Wedding
Michelle and Matt have one of those “meet cute” stories that sounds like it belongs in a rom-com. Michelle actually met Matt’s mom first—while selling her a pair of shoes—having no idea she was chatting with her future mother-in-law. Fast forward, and there we were on their wedding day, surrounded by that same fun, loving family, celebrating the start of their marriage. It honestly couldn’t have been sweeter.
Every aspect of their Trinity Tree Farm Wedding was meticulously planned to reflect their unique story and style.
Their wedding was held at the beautiful Trinity Tree Farm, a 40-acre Christmas tree farm and wedding venue tucked into the hills of Issaquah, Washington. With its evergreens, open lawns, and cozy rustic spaces, it’s such a quintessential Pacific Northwest spot to say “I do.” Whether you’re at The Barn or The Lodge, a Trinity Tree Farm Wedding feels warm, inviting, and perfectly PNW, and Michelle and Matt’s Trinity Tree Farm Wedding fit that vibe so well.
From the very beginning, I loved how easy it was to connect with Michelle. We instantly bonded over our shared love of dogs. She has the cutest little pup named Moose, and like any true dog mom, she knew she had to find a way to include him in the wedding—even though he couldn’t physically be there. They incorporated Moose in some of the details, and it was such a fun, personal touch. I always love when couples find creative ways to weave their pets into the day.
The Trinity Tree Farm Wedding venue offered stunning backdrops for their photos, capturing the essence of love and joy throughout the day.
Michelle and Matt’s wedding was full of those kinds of thoughtful, personalized details. One of my favorites was how they incorporated their love of food—especially pizza and beer. Instead of sticking to only traditional wedding fare, they made sure their reception reflected what they actually love to enjoy together. It felt relaxed and fun, and it gave the whole day this laid-back, “come hang out with us” kind of atmosphere. Guests loved it, and it made their celebration feel uniquely them.
Michelle and Matt’s Trinity Tree Farm Wedding was a beautiful celebration filled with laughter, great food, and amazing company.
Trinity Tree Farm was the perfect backdrop for that kind of wedding. With its forest views, mountain peek-a-boos, and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, it has this way of feeling both rustic and romantic at the same time. You get those classic PNW elements—towering trees, fresh air, and big open skies—paired with charming venues that are designed with weddings in mind. It’s the kind of place where you can play lawn games, sneak away for portraits in the trees, and then cozy up inside for dinner and dancing as the sun goes down.
As the sun set during their Trinity Tree Farm Wedding, the ambiance transformed into a magical evening, perfect for dancing and celebrating.
All day long, Michelle and Matt were surrounded by people who absolutely adore them. Their families are warm and welcoming, and their friends kept everyone laughing from start to finish. The energy was lighthearted and fun, but there were also so many tender moments—teary eyes during the ceremony, tight hugs after the recessional, and those little in-between glances that couples give each other when they realize, “We’re really married.”
The joyful atmosphere of their Trinity Tree Farm Wedding created unforgettable memories for everyone in attendance.
By the time the dance floor opened, the whole celebration had that perfect “just right” feeling. Great music, happy guests, pizza and beer, and a couple who never stopped smiling. It was one of those weddings where you leave at the end of the night with tired feet and a very full heart.
This Trinity Tree Farm Wedding was truly a reflection of Michelle and Matt’s love story, making it one for the books.
Michelle and Matt’s day at Trinity Tree Farm was fun, heartfelt, and full of personality—from the shoe-store meet-cute, to little Moose represented in the details, to their shared love of good food and good beer. It was such a joy to be there to photograph it all.
Being part of this Trinity Tree Farm Wedding was a highlight in my photography journey, capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments.
