This wedding was so special for me to shoot. I first met Chelsea and Daniel at my assistant’s wedding a couple of years ago, and when she contacted me to do their wedding, I was ecstatic. The sweetest couple and the most beautiful day. Everything was stunning, can you say details? I love getting to work at private venues, it is always so personal and intimate, and I got to see a lot of familiar faces, and work with some new vendors! The bride and groom were literally glowing the entire day, we had so much fun. I was able to fulfill a dream of working with Kaleb Norman James, too.He didn’t disappoint! The day was pure magic and the florals were out of this world gorgeous! Now I’m going to let Kelsey tell you a bit about the Bride and Groom.
Chelsea is my best friend since 8th grade, and to be a part of her day was such an honor. Chelsea and Daniel first met in high school, but fell in love while attending university, Chelsea in British Columbia and Daniel in Oregon. Their relationship has grown so strong and stood the test of long miles, late night Skype talks, and all of life’s ups and downs. They have such a sweet, tender love for one another every day; but I have never seen them more radiant than on their wedding day, just as it should be.
They said their vows on the steps of Chelsea’s childhood home, and we danced under the stars in the backyard, ate s’mores, and toasted the happy couple. Celebrating a joyous day that was years in the making, but was oh so worth the wait. They are truly God’s perfect gift to each other. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of their celebration!
