Four Seasons Wedding Editorial: An Elegant Seattle Wedding Venue
Editorial shoots are where creativity really gets to stretch—and this styled wedding photoshoot at the Four Seasons in Seattle was designed to do exactly that. This Four Seasons wedding design was so much fun to create. The goal wasn’t to move away from classic wedding design, but to expand on it. We wanted to take the timeless black-and-white palette and push it just enough—adding a little edge, a little attitude, and a modern point of view. We felt this Seattle wedding venue was a good fit for this.
The Four Seasons wedding experience is truly unforgettable and speaks to the heart of luxury. One of the best featured of this Seattle wedding venue is the rooftop access. I love a good rooftop wedding venue! It’s a great area for the couple and their wedding party to take a break from dancing or a great location to mingling during the wedding.
This Four Seasons wedding editorial truly captures the elegance and charm of the venue. The result was an elevated, fashion-forward vision of what a luxury wedding at the Four Seasons Seattle can look like: classic at its core, but layered with contrast, texture, and intentional design. The luxurious atmosphere of a Four Seasons wedding is unparalleled, making it a top choice for couples.
Every detail in this Four Seasons wedding editorial is curated to reflect the couple’s unique style and love story.
Why the Four Seasons Seattle Is an Iconic Wedding Venue
Getting married at the Four Seasons Seattle is the definition of refined city luxury. Located in the heart of downtown with sweeping views of Elliott Bay, the hotel blends waterfront beauty with polished interiors and exceptional service. It’s ideal for couples who want an elegant, urban wedding that still feels warm and inviting. A Four Seasons wedding offers the perfect blend of sophistication and comfort for guests.
Choosing this Four Seasons wedding means prioritizing both aesthetics and comfort for an exceptional guest experience.
One of the reasons I love photographing weddings at the Four Seasons is how versatile the space is. The natural light, the clean architectural lines, and the beautifully designed interiors allow for a wide range of imagery—from soft and romantic to editorial and bold—without ever leaving the venue.
Every Four Seasons wedding I photograph is unique, showcasing the couple’s personal style.
Stretching the Classic Black-and-White Wedding Design
This editorial was intentionally created to stretch the boundaries of a traditional black-and-white wedding design. While that palette will always be timeless, we wanted to show how adding unexpected elements can make it feel fresh and modern.
The centerpieces and backdrop introduced sculptural shapes and layered textures, giving the design a subtle edge while still feeling elegant. Clean lines met organic forms, and classic elements were balanced with contemporary details. It felt elevated, editorial, and a little daring—in the best way.
And then there was the cake.
The cake was honestly one of my favorite details of the entire day—second only to the bride’s absolutely stunning wedding dress. Created by Rue Cler Seattle, it was beautifully classic and refined, grounding the overall design and proving that timeless elements still shine when surrounded by modern styling. It photographed beautifully and felt like the perfect contrast to the edgier design moments.

Wedding rentals from CORT Party Rental helped define the space and supported the modern-meets-classic vision.
Beauty That Felt Editorial and Timeless
Hair and makeup were kept clean, polished, and fashion-forward. One of my favorite parts of this shoot was having my favorite hairstylist, Alise, as part of the bridal beauty team. I absolutely love working with her—her ability to create looks that feel elevated, modern, and effortlessly beautiful is unmatched. She brought such a refined, editorial touch to the overall look.
