The Edgewood: Kat and Marco

There’s something truly magical about a summer wedding in Lake Tahoe—the sun sparkling on crystal-clear waters, the crisp mountain air, and the way time seems to slow down, allowing every cherished moment to linger just a little longer. Marco and Kat’s wedding at Edgewood Tahoe captured all of that magic and more, becoming an unforgettable celebration of love, laughter, and breathtaking views.

A Waterfront Ceremony to Remember

Marco and Kat’s day began with a serene calmness as the Edgewood’s pristine waterfront set the stage for their vows. With the lake as their backdrop, the couple exchanged heartfelt promises beneath a stunning floral arch adorned with soft blush roses, ivory peonies, and cascading greenery. The gentle sound of lapping waves and the sight of boats drifting in the distance created an atmosphere of natural serenity. Guests couldn’t help but be captivated by the intimate setting and the undeniable connection between the two.

Elegant Details and Personal Touches

The couple’s attention to detail shone through in every element of their wedding. Kat wore an incredible lace gown from the most talented Monique Lhuillier, while Marco looked dashing in a tailored white suit. Their color palette of soft pastels and earthy tones harmonized perfectly with the natural beauty of the venue.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Marco and Kat opted for a whimsical gelato cart that became an instant hit with their guests. With an array of flavors like pistachio, lemon, and stracciatella, the cart offered a refreshing and fun twist that perfectly suited the warm summer day. It was a sweet reflection of the couple’s playful personalities and their desire to create a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

A Sunset Boat Ride to Cherish

As the ceremony gave way to an evening of celebration, Marco and Kat carved out a special moment just for themselves. They boarded a classic wooden boat and glided across the lake as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of gold, pink, and lavender. The quiet romance of that sunset boat ride was a breathtaking contrast to the lively reception waiting for them back at Edgewood.

The newlyweds laughed and embraced as the lake breeze kissed their cheeks, savoring the beauty of their first moments as a married couple. Their photographer captured the scene perfectly, with the shimmering water and glowing sky creating a dreamlike backdrop for their love story.

A Celebration to Remember

Back onshore, the reception was in full swing. Twinkling string lights and lanterns transformed the Edgewood’s outdoor terrace into an enchanting space for dining and dancing under the stars. Guests enjoyed a gourmet meal that highlighted local flavors, raising glasses of sparkling wine to toast the happy couple. Lively music kept everyone on their feet, ensuring the night ended with as much joy and energy as it began.

Marco and Kat’s wedding at Edgewood Tahoe was more than just a celebration; it was an experience that reflected their unique love and sense of adventure. From the heartfelt ceremony to the gelato cart, the sunset boat ride, and the unforgettable reception, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create a day that would linger in their hearts forever.

As the evening progressed, Kat surprised everyone by changing into a second outfit—a chic, beaded jumpsuit that sparkled under the string lights. The ensemble was perfect for dancing, allowing her to move effortlessly as she and Marco shared their first dance as husband and wife. The outfit change not only showcased Kat’s fun and stylish side but also added an extra touch of glamour to the evening’s festivities.
