Happy Wednesday! Courtney’s assistant, Kelsey here. I figured I should introduce myself!

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, between Bellingham and the San Juan Islands… definitely an island girl at heart! I love to spend as much time on the water as possible, whether sailing and exploring the San Juans, or just hanging at the beach. This is probably one of the reasons my husband and I live on a boat. It’s an adventure and so fun!

My love for photography was passed on to me by my sweet grandfather, who was always snapping photos of joyful moments and beautiful views. I’ve been taking photos ever since I was little, it feels like every year I would ask for the next point and shoot camera, so being able to shoot weddings with Courtney has seriously been a dream!

Some fun facts about me: I love dogs. I’m always smiling at and talking to dogs that I see in public. I married my high school sweetheart (and Courtney was my photographer!). My favorite thing to photograph at weddings is flowers and all the small details.

Any free time I have, I will be reading, drinking coffee, watercoloring, knitting (I’m kind of a grandma), drawing house plans, trying new food (I’m a bit of a foodie), and cozying up with my better half and binge watching suspenseful tv shows.
