May was as crazy busy month for me, which is really not a norm for me. I had the privilege of going to Arizona for a few days and photograph a gorgeous wedding for Taylor and Haydn at The Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix. Not only that, I loved all the amazing and talented vendors as well. It was the first wedding in a whole year that felt “normal.” After the year we had with the pandemic , it was so nice to photograph dancing again. So far 2021 is turning out to be an amazing year for weddings. People are really starting to let loose and celebrate again. As much as I love small intimate weddings, I love big parties as well. All the dancing and funny toasts make for such a fun and memorable event.

I had never been to The Royal Palms Resort before, so I did some research. I was blown away at the grounds and all the picturesque spots for photos.  Immediately I knew of the places I wanted to take the bride and groom for photos. When I got there, I was surprised that there are even more incredible places to take photos. The venue has such a Spanish vibe. I felt like I was in another country. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend booking a night or two there.
