When I first arrived at Lairmont Manor in Bellingham, Washington for this styled wedding shoot, I felt like I had been transported to a European estate tucked into the heart of the Pacific Northwest. This entire Lairmont Manor styled wedding shoot was a love letter to spring—soft, romantic, and filled with delicate details that made my photographer heart swoon. Genevieve, the mastermind behind this gorgeous day, blended whimsy and elegance flawlessly, curating an experience that felt both luxurious and deeply personal. We decided to opt for two wedding dresses to give two very different wedding looks. The groom had a floral pocket boutineer which made it easy to place without pinning your finger to the jacket.
One of my favorite details from this photoshoot? A large poster with Taylor Swift lyrics delicately printed in calligraphy, hanging beneath a chandelier on the manor’s largest tree out front. It danced gently in the breeze, a nod to modern romance for the couple who dreams in poetry and playlists. This is a perfect way to add a little personal detail to your wedding day.
