I always recommend flowy dresses, natural hair, and embracing the wind and saltwater for truly magical, unposed moments. This is one of my all time favorite engagement session locations. Top Spots: Downtown Salt Lake City, Discovery Park, Pioneer Square in Seattle, Capitol Hill, and Gas Works Park for skyline views.

Another great engagement session locations are ones with an urban setting. It adds architectural lines, textures, and an editorial edge to your engagement photos. From brick walls and graffiti art to rooftop skylines and historic buildings, this vibe is great if you want something chic and stylish. Pro tip: plan your session during early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds.

Top Spots: Paris, Santorini, Hawaii, even Park City or Leavenworth for a local destination feel

If you’re traveling for a special vacation or planning a destination wedding, why not schedule your engagement session there too? If you are seeking a destination feel but without the price tag, Leavenworth, Sunstone Winery, Lake Chelan or Park City have a great European destination vibe.

In-home engagement sessions are all about connection and authenticity. Whether you’re cuddling on the couch with your dog or sipping coffee in your kitchen, these photos often become the most meaningful because they reflect your real life together. Bonus: they’re weather-proof!

I know it’s not the most ideal engagement session locations, but I promise it delivers gorgeous, intimate photos with no distraction.
